Toys for dogs and cats are a growth market in the USA. This was confirmed by the market research company Packaged Facts in a new market report published under the title "Durable Dog and Cat Petcare Products in the US".
Packaged Facts estimates the volume of the toy market for dogs and cats at approx. US$ 1 bn. Six years ago it was US$ 840 mio, indicating an annual growth rate of 4 per cent. The market research company believes that an annual growth rate of 3 per cent is achievable in this product category by 2020.
