B + K UK targets pet food

In the last 15 years, the focus of production at the British subsidiary of the Bischof + Klein Group (B+K) has gradually shifted from packaging solutions for industry to the manufacture of high-quality packaging films for consumer goods. B+K UK has significantly expanded the original capacity of its plant in Telford with four modern flexographic printing systems and is now targeting the food, pet food and hygiene sectors in particular.
B+K UK is the first foreign subsidiary of German film and packaging specialist Bischof + Klein. The company produces mainly consumer packaging films with advanced printing. Last year the company invested in two ultra-modern printing presses with eight and ten colours respectively.
