Eheim extends its scheme internationally

Eheim aims to introduce its selective distribution system, which was implemented in Germany in 2013, into some other countries also. Belgium is next in line on 1 June, following which the system will be rolled out in the Netherlands later in the year. Plans are also in hand to extend it to France and Great Britain.
In parallel with this, cooperation with the wholesale trade will be reduced in the Benelux states. Eheim is now only working with two wholesalers and putting more effort into supplying retailers directly. The company has already taken on its own field staff to look after pet product retailers in Belgium.
