Hamburg-based Lampe Privatinvest Management GmbH has acquired a majority holding in Bunny Tierernährung GmbH. Bunny’s managing director Oliver Petzoldt is to remain with the company as the minority shareholder in the manufacturer of high-quality products for small animals. He will continue to run Bunny with a proven team, according to a press release. Hartmut Englisch, the former managing partner, will continue to act as a consultant to Bunny Tierernährung.
As a holding company of Bankhaus Lampe KG, Lampe Privatinvest targets long-term minority and majority holdings in small and medium-sized German companies. It is financed by entrepreneurially inclined private investors. On its website Lampe Privatinvest points out that its day-to-day business will not be affected. There is no fixed duration for the holding, nor is the company under any pressure to sell it again after a set period.
