No. 6 in Romania

Hornbach Baumarkt AG has expanded its chain of outlets in Romania with the opening of a new DIY store and garden centre in Sibiu. The former Obi store in Siebenbürgen, which was acquired in autumn 2014, is the sixth Hornbach store in the country and the third outside the capital Bucharest after Brașov and Timișoara.
More than 12 million euros were invested in modifications among other things to create space for all departments and the services provided by a modern Hornbach store. It is on a main transport route with easy access to the motorway. Sibiu is the 152nd store in the Hornbach Baumarkt AG group.
