Visitor attendance up at Garten- & Zooevent

Around 4 500 visitors came to the German Garten- & Zooevent trade show in Kassel last weekend. Compared with the previous year, visitor numbers were up by 11 per cent at the show, which was organised jointly by the speciality cooperatives Egesa-Zookauf and Sagaflor. This is a similar increase to the last show in an Interzoo-free year in 2013, when the visitor attendance reached roughly 4 700. According to the organisers, the proportion of trade visitors not affiliated to either of the two cooperatives increased this year to a third of the overall visitor total. The next Garten- & Zooevent takes place on 24-25 September 2016.
