US pet market continues to grow

The US pet market grew by 4.2 per cent last year compared with 2013 to $58.04 bn. As revealed in the margins of the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, the veterinary care and services segments in particular achieved high growth. The American Pet Products Association (APPA), which reported the market data, is expecting growth of 4.4 per cent this year to $60.59 bn.
