Petland hires former Walmart VP

Tony Samples has joined the American pet retail group Petland as new vice-president of corporate stores. He will lead Petland’s retail store division and oversee the company’s merchandising and marketing efforts. Samples has more than 30 years of retail experience, among others as vice-president of retail operations at Wal-Mart. Currently he serves on the executive advisory council for Berry College’s Campbell School of Business and is a member of the Northwest Georgia Regional Angel Investor Network.
