The company markedly surpassed the targeted gross revenue of € 550 mio for 2014
Zooplus AG, Europe’s leading online pet product retailer, increased its gross revenue in fiscal 2014 by 34 per cent to € 571 mio (previous year: € 427 mio), based on provisional figures. Gross revenue is made up of sales and other income. The company’s total sales revenues last year came to € 543 mio (previous year: € 407 mio) and its other income to € 28 mio (previous year: € 20 mio).
Zooplus’s original targeted gross revenue of € 550 mio in 2014 was thus exceeded. The improvement was the result of an increase in its growth rate in the course of last year. Gross revenue in the second half of the year increased by 38 per cent compared with the same period in the previous year. In absolute terms, the company’s growth in 2014 at € 144 mio considerably exceeded that of the previous year at € 91 mio.
