Plaček Group opens 100th store

The Plaček Group opened its 100th pet store in mid-November. The store is in the Bory shopping centre in the Slovakian capital Bratislava. The Czech company, which operates stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Latvia, is one of the leading pet retail chains in central and eastern Europe. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia the Plaček Group has 32 and 30 outlets respectively under the Super Zoo logo and 38 stores in Latvia trading as Dino Zoo.Suppliers from the pet product industry were present at the store opening. These included Fritz Gerke, also known as “the Silver Fox“, who handles exports for the Rogz company.
