The Futterhaus Group increased its sales in 2013. Its Austrian stores in particular made good headway

The Futterhaus Group increased its sales in 2013. In Germany, sales rose by 3.8 per cent compared to the previous year to € 240 mio (2012: € 231 mio). Like-for-like sales by the German stores increased by three per cent. Sales in Austria increased with the opening of seven new stores by 41 per cent to € 18 mio (€ 12.7 mio in 2012). The Austrian stores increased like-for-like sales by over twelve per cent.
/p>The Elmshorn-based speciality retail group opened 18 new stores in Germany in the last twelve months, including 15 with franchise partners. It aims to add 20 new stores in Germany and seven new stores in Austria during 2014.
