The company invested € 20 mio in the new 36 000 m2 building
The Belgian retail group Aveve officially opened its new logistics centre at the company’s base in Wilsele on 31 January. Franchisees and suppliers to the retail company were able to rate the efficiency of the new, ultra-modern facility for themselves over the weekend.
The new centre, which is to be used exclusively to supply goods to over 250 specialist stores and replaces seven warehouses in all, covers an overall area of 36 000 m². It is thus the biggest building project in the company’s history. € 20 mio was invested in the new centre, with which the Belgian company aims to organise the supply of products to its stores more efficiently.
