Nickels joins the board of directors at PetSmart

Elizabeth Nickels has been elected to fill a newly created vacancy on the board of directors of the US pet retail chain PetSmart. She will join the 2013 class of directors and will be eligible for re-election to the board by the company’s stockholders at the 2014 annual meeting of stockholders. Nickels is currently executive director of the Herman Miller Foundation and has held several executive positions with the organization for the past twelve years, including president of Herman Miller Healthcare and chief financial officer. She is also currently a board member of Spartan Stores.
