Awards presentation in Australia

In Australia, awards have recently been given to some outstanding personalities in the pet supplies sector. The Pioneer Award was presented to Tom Cellucci of Kong’s Australia for his 20-plus years’ association with the Australian pet industry with a high level of achievement. Cellucci still retains an active role, having worked for Kong’s since February 2003 in the position of chief administration officer and holding that position to the present day. The Kevin Pakes Perpetual Achievement Award, which is presented in recognition of service to and achievement in the Australian pet supplies industry over the past 12 months, has been given to Barry Tonissen of Merial. He joined Merial Australia in 2003 as the regional business manager and has forged strong relationships with colleagues in the industry. The Customer Service Award for exceptional customer service at consumer level was presented to Heather Morrison of Better Pets & Gardens Midland. The recipient of the Customer Service Award for exceptional customer service at wholesale level is Georgina Hulbert of Bayer Animal Health.
