The number of visitors to Zoomark International rose by 9 per cent to 22 760 compared with 2011. This is revealed in the closing report presented by the fair organisers. From the point of view of the latter, a pleasing aspect of the show was the increased international spread. This was manifested not only in the well-frequented pavilions from Great Britain, the USA, Canada, Brazil and China, but also by the 9 per cent increase in the number of foreign buyers (5 890). Foreign visitors from 82 different countries attended, including first-timers Azerbaijan, Grenada, Peru, Uganda, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia and New Caledonia, while Moldavia, Monaco, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Guatemala all returned to visit Zoomark International. And the number of visitors from eastern Europe, the Mediterranean basin, the Middle East and the Far East grew, said the fair organisers. The number of Italian visitors increased by 5 per cent compared with 2011.
