Fire at a Champion Petfoods plant

A fire damaged a dryer at the plant of Champion Petfoods, manufacturer of the pet food brands “Orijen” and “Acana”, in Morinville. According to a newspaper report, work continues as usual at the facility and no employee was affected by the fire. A spokesperson of the company, who was quoted in the article, said that it could be up to 14 weeks before a new dryer is installed.
