More visitors than in 2011 at Interpets

The Japanese pet show, which took place from 23 to 26 August, attracted nearly 40 000 visitors. The number of exhibitors has also increased compared with 2011

This year’s Japanese pet show Interpets has attracted more visitors than at the first edition. The show, which took place from 23 to 26 August at Makuhari Fair, welcomed 46 883 visitors, among them 9 836 professionals. In 2011 the show welcomed 39 481 visitors. Compared with the previous year, the number of exhibitors has also increased in 2012. 257 exhibitors, including 48 from abroad, showcased their products. In 2011, shortly after the devastating earthquake in Fukushima, the show welcomed only 217 exhibitors.
