Europe’s leading online pet supplies retailer increased its total revenues by 30 per cent in the first six months
Zooplus AG, Europe’s leading online pet supplies retailer, aims to expand into Turkey. The online retailer spent the first six months of the year opening up the markets in Romania, Hungary and Slovenia.
As of July 2012, Zooplus operated 19 country-specific online stores. The company is also taking a considerable interest in the UK market, and is even thinking about building its own logistics centre there.
Zooplus’s total revenues rose by nearly 30 per cent in the first six months to € 152.3 mio. The online retailer expects total revenues of at least € 320 mio for the current year.
