New senior director at PPG

The PPG Pet Products Group (Karlie Heimtierbedarf GmbH, Flamingo NV) has appointed Daniel Tigu as its new senior director of global sourcing for purchasing. According to the company, Tigu has a very good knowledge of the international markets and has occupied senior positions in the purchasing sphere at German and international retail firms for many years.
His most recent appointment was as director of international purchasing at the Metro Group in Germany. With his background knowledge he is expected to coordinate and implement the national and international expansion of purchasing at Karlie Flamingo.
