Successful premiere of the Mexico Pet Expo

With 123 exhibitors from eight countries, an exhibition area of over 1 500 m² and a total of 1 352 visitors from ten countries, the first Mexico Pet Expo & Conference fulfilled the expectations of the organisers, NürnbergMesse North America.
A visitor survey revealed that the visitors were satisfied with the exhibitors’ offerings and with the opportunities for acquiring information and making contacts. The Mexico Pet Expo cooperates closely with the Mexican association of food manufacturers, La Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Alimentos A.C. (AMEPA). The latter organised the “2nd Mexican Forum on Pet Food”, which took place in tandem with the show and was aimed at manufacturers of pet food products.
There was also a special forum at the Mexico Pet Expo for smaller companies. The “Area de Emprendedores” was a special zone exclusively for smaller firms with growth potential; it offered a platform for business development through the acquisition of important contacts. The next Mexico Pet Expo & Conference takes place from 26 to 28 June 2013. It will be staged once again at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center in Guadalajara, Mexico.
