Gold medal for Eheim North America

The American pet trade show H.H. Backer’s 45th Annual Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show and Educational Conference, held in Rosemont (Chicago), attracted nearly 9 000 registered buyers from 2 410 firms. This information has been revealed by the organiser in a press release. A total of 634 exhibiting companies occupied 1 103 booths, including 123 first-time exhibitors. Apart from the exhibition, the accompanying events included a Best Dressed Dog Contest, a Celebration of Style Grooming Contest, a New Exhibitor Area, the All-Natural Area und the Aquatic Answers Area. Retailers voted for their favourite pet products in a retailer contest organised by the magazine PET Age. The gold medal was awarded to Eheim North America for the “AquaStyle” aquarium. The silver medal went to Pet Hub for its “Smart Link” QR code ID tags. The bronze medal winner was Uncle Jimmy’s Puppy Cakes.
