New director at Fressnapf

Alfred Glander will become a new director of Fressnapf on 1 January 2012. He will be responsible for international purchasing, private labels, category management and e-commerce. Glander served most recently on the management of the discount food group Penny, where he was responsible for purchasing and category management. He has extensive experience of the retail trade. Glander takes over from Michael Brackmann, who has been part of the Fressnapf management since 1996. Brackmann will continue to act as a consultant to the franchise company when he steps down as director.
