Iberzoo to take place in Barcelona

“As a response to widespread demand from the pet professional sector, we are pleased to announce that the next Iberzoo fair will be held in Barcelona, Hall 2 at Montjuic.” This was the news from the organisers of Iberzoo, the Spanish Association of Pet Product Distributors (AEDPAC). The show dates have been set as 29 September to 1 October 2011. Iberzoo thus becomes part of the newly conceived “International week of the companion animal (SIMA)” at the venues of Fira de Barcelona. Three key pet care events for Spain will be staged during this week: “El Salon de la Mascota,” which is for the general public and organised by Fira de Barcelona, Iberzoo, organised by AEDPAC, and the SEVC conference, which targets the veterinary sector. “We can say that Spanish pet care now has Barcelona as its capital,” the press release stresses.
