Arken growing in Sweden

Between January and April, the Swedish pet store chain Arken grew by 50.2 per cent compared with last year. Sales on its existing retail area grew by 16.4 per cent. The aquatics segment in particular made extremely good progress, according to CEO Lars Bergkvist.
With 54 stores the company claims to be the leading pet store chain in Sweden. Arken plans to open 13 more stores this year.
