Focus 100 acquires Armitage

Focus 100, a British private investment company, has purchased Armitage, one of UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of pet food, accessories and aquatic products. According to a press release, the current executive team at Armitage will continue in their respective roles. Additionally, Brian Round, Chief Executive of Focus 100, will join the Board as Executive Chairman while Peter Hagan and Neville Jones, Directors of Focus 100, will join the Board as Non-Executive Directors. Armitage, based in Nottingham, employs around 240 people. Its accessories division is held for UK’s No. 1.
