Sales up at Wyevale

The leading UK garden centre operator Wyevale had 124 stores operating at the end of last year. According to the company’s annual report for 2002, 29 out of a total of 39 stores belonging to the former Country Gardens chain, now part of Wyevale, have been converted to the Wyevale format. Wyevale increased its sales in 2002 by 5.8 per cent to 176.4 mio euro. Sales on a comparable store area rose by 2.2 per cent.
