This year’s edition of the most important pet supplies fair in Asia, the China International Pet Show (CIPS), continued the positive trend of the last few events. The organisers, China Great Wall International Exhibition and Nürnberg Messe, announced strong growth of the CIPS: “761 companies from 19 countries in the world showcased their products and services, marking an increase of 4.1 per cent and 11 per cent respectively on last year’s figures.” And the number of visitors set a record too, with more than 35 100 visitors (2010: 33 000 visitors) from 77 countries attending the exhibition in the Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou.
