The Italian company Gabber, founded in 1976 and based in Brogliano, boasts wide experience in the design, manufacture and export of products for small animals, such as cages for rodents and cages and aviaries for birds, as well as plastic articles for cats and dogs.

The family business established as a small firm by Vasco Bertinato has developed steadily over time and has grown in size and importance. It has also extended its product range, thanks to investment in modern machinery with the aim of enlarging the production unit. Gabber now has premises covering nearly 6,000 m², employs around 35 people and has acquired high-tech automatic equipment that guarantees the production of high-quality articles, some of which are patented, and a reduction in production costs so as to maintain a good quality/price ratio.

Its use of high-quality materials, the refined design of its products and its ability to develop a steady stream of new articles have ensured that Gabber is well-known in the international market nowadays. In addition to this, Gabber pays close attention to the advice and suggestions offered by its clients and distributors, in order to be able to adapt its products to the changing needs of the market and interpret market trends. The company attaches great importance to picking up on the latest fashion trends with regard to colour and design as quickly as possible and turning these into innovative products that meet the requirements of as many pet owners as possible. Word of this has got around in the pet product trade and has contributed to the ongoing growth of the Italian firm over the years. The company has also reacted promptly to the general decline in the bird segment in many European countries and switched its attention to the small animal segment, which was growing. This segment is now doing particularly well at Gabber.
