It’s no secret that the vivarium business as a whole is blooming. The film “Jurassic Park” gave the sector a marked boost when it came out, and the demand here for European products increased in parallel, as most vivarium products still come from the USA.
Norbert Lenzen is a passionate and committed specialist in reptiles and amphibians, with extensive experience in the field.
Norbert Lenzen has been actively involved in the growth of the reptile and amphibian trade in Germany for seven years now. As one of the very few wholesalers in Germany, he delivers exclusively to other wholesalers, who supply their retail clients in turn. He and his staff of five maintain a range that includes around 100 types of reptiles and amphibians and a steadily growing range of accessories. “I deal solely in rare and unusual creatures that are not normally to be found elsewhere. Extruded food is not generally suitable, as many important constituents are destroyed in the production process, but Lenzen believes it could easily become popular as a bulk food product, as it is much cheaper to manufacture. He is urging the pet trade to take nutrition for reptiles and amphibians more seriously. This food line is being marketed under the brand name “Nutriplus”, while the extensive range of accessories offered by Eurozoo is being marketed as “TerraPlus”. These include heating cables…
