Bioiberica receives NutraStrong collagen verification

Barcelona-based life science company Bioiberica has obtained NutraStrong Collagen Verification for Collavant n2, its native (undenatured) type II collagen ingredient for joint support in dogs and cats. The certification, issued by SGS Nutrasource, is the first independent programme dedicated to verifying the identity, source, safety and quality of collagen ingredients — and Bioiberica is the first company to receive it for a pet health ingredient.

Collavant n2 is effective at a low dose of 0.4 mg/kg body weight (25 ppm in feed). For pet supplement brands, the verified status offers a clear point of differentiation and independently substantiated claims.
