Hill's Pet Nutrition will host its 2026 Global Symposium on June 22–24 in Phuket, Thailand, with a free global livestream open to veterinary professionals. This year's theme, ‘Healthy skin starts from within’, centres on the gut-skin axis and the role of nutrition in supporting dermatological and gastrointestinal health.
More than ten veterinary experts will present on topics including the gut microbiome, canine atopic dermatitis, feline practice, and hydrolyzed protein diets. Keynote speakers include Domenico Santoro (University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine) and Elise Robertson, a board-certified feline specialist. Sessions will be available on demand after the live event via Hill's Veterinary Academy.
More than 10 renowned veterinary experts will provide insights and practical applications to guide clinical decision-making, exploring topics such as the gut-skin axis, novel dermatologic approaches, and advanced care for feline and small and mini canine patients. Among the distinguished presenters are Keynote speaker Domenico Santoro, professor of dermatology at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, with a presentation on the intricate connection between the gut microbiome and dermatologic health, Keynote speaker Elise Robertson, Recognised American Board-Certified Specialist in Feline Practice, who will delve into the essential intellectual, emotional and cultural intelligences that define modern feline practice, Alyssa Toillion, senior scientist at Hill's Pet Nutrition with Global Clinical Nutrition and Claims, who will share insights on the positive dermatologic impacts of hydrolyzed protein food with a specialized prebiotic fibre blend in adult dogs, an Sara J. Ramos, dermatologist at Capital Area Veterinary Specialists and Veterinary Specialists of Greater New Orleans, who will explore the latest updates on canine atopic dermatitis, as well as the effects of elimination diet trials in dogs and cats.
