New CFO for Pets at Home

The UK pet retailer Pets at Home has annonced a new chief financial officer: Sarah Pollard brings extensive corporate and commercial finance experience, most recently from the global consumer goods sector as group CFO and board director at PZ Cussons plc, where she helped lead the organisation through both a turnaround then a strategic transformation, the company reports. Prior to this, Pollard held senior roles at Diageo, Tesco and Unilever.

An Oxford University graduate with a degree in Biochemistry, she began her career at PwC where she qualified as an accountant, before moving into investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
