Kiwoko, a multi-species specialist in comprehensive pet care in Spain and Portugal, and designer Pablo Erroz have worked together to bring responsible adoption to the catwalk at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, which took place from 17 to 22 March in the capital. Over five days, the international fashion event showcased the work of 40 designers, with a highlight being the show for Pablo Erroz’s collection, in which he presented ‘The Residence’, his annual collection for 2026. For the first time, this included a line of clothing and accessories for dogs, created in collaboration with Kiwoko.

The collection, which will be on sale exclusively on the Kiwoko website from 1 April, has been created with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of responsible adoption at one of the most international fashion events. That is why part of the proceeds from the sale of these items will go towards supporting animal shelters, with which Kiwoko regularly collaborates, to help abandoned animals find a home where they can be happy and live with dignity, the company reports in a press release.

‘For many of us, pets are also part of our family and an integral part of our daily lives,’ explained designer Pablo Erroz. ‘As an animal lover and the owner of Piero, a Chihuahua who has been with me since he was born, and it’s been nine years now, I’ve long wanted to do something related to the animal world. ’ Erroz noted that there are two main reasons behind this collection: ‘Firstly, because it makes perfect sense to do so at this time of growth and diversification that Erroz is currently experiencing; and secondly, not forgetting the great love I have for animals, because I had been looking for a long time for things I couldn’t find in the world of dog accessories, which, despite being increasingly extensive, still lacks a more premium-design range.’

Caroline Arrú, Kiwoko’s CMO and sponsor of the ESG committee, explained that ‘Being able to bring this message to this stage allows us to raise awareness of the thousands of animals waiting for a second chance and to demonstrate that fashion can also be a vehicle for driving real change,’ concluded Arrú.

According to the designer, this is a broad, global and diverse collection comprising 30 mixed-gender looks with a clear focus on sustainability. On the one hand, the entire collection is designed using natural tones, with black and off-white as the main bases, against which greens, blues and yellows stand out. Furthermore, it features natural materials such as silks, linens, nappa leather, viscose and cool wools, alongside sequins, embroidery, artisanal techniques and a proprietary collection of Ikat fabric made in Mallorca by Bujosa Textil.
