Petfood Forum Asia 2025 concluded in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 29, bringing together pet food industry professionals from 17 countries, including Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.

‘Petfood Forum Asia brought together a diverse group of professionals to share ideas and explore opportunities in one of the most dynamic pet food markets in the world,’ said Steve Akins, executive vice president, publisher, global petfood and events at WATT Global Media. ‘This event continues to play an important role in connecting the industry and encourages growth across Southeast Asia.’

The conference provided attendees with insights into market trends, nutrition, ingredient innovation and processing technologies in the Southeast Asian pet food and treat sector.

Sahiba Puri, global insight manager, PetCare, Euromonitor International, opened the morning sessions by discussing regional trends covering channel dynamics, premium product push and preventive health management. Presentations also covered the stability of DHA and EPA in sustainable marine microalgae oil in both dry and wet pet foods, pet food formulation quality and risk management, postbiotics and the potential to meet pet owners' demands, and reducing waste in pet treat extruder production. The event provided attendees an opportunity to connect with decisionmakers, suppliers and industry leaders.

Petfood Forum Asia was co-located with Pet Fair South East Asia 2025, which took place October 29-31, 2025, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The fair showcased exhibiting companies from more than 40 countries.
