Ceva sponsors veterinarians

As a company run by veterinarians, Ceva Animal Health (Ceva) attaches great importance to supporting initiatives by outstanding veterinarians worldwide and recognizing their achievements with these awards. That is why the world's fifth-largest animal health company, according to its own figures, is proud to once again be sponsoring the World Veterinary Association (WVA) Awards in 2025. The awards were presented at the final ceremony in Washington DC, USA. The highest award, Veterinarian of the Year, went to Professor Susan W. Mbugua, who was also the winner in the Veterinary Education category.

The retired professor of veterinary surgery at the University of Nairobi revolutionized veterinary education with her expertise in complex surgical disciplines. At the same time, she was the founding chair of the Kenya Small and Companion Animal Veterinary Association and shaped professional standards throughout East Africa.
