Handtmann marks its 150th anniversary

Based in Biberach (Baden-Württemberg) in southern Germany, Handtmann Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG has passed its 150th anniversary milestone. The leading manufacturer of processing technology for food and also pet food marked the event in the presence of figures from the political and economic world.

A number of addresses highlighted the services offered by the fast- growing firm, which employs around 4 300 staff and has an annual turnover of a billion euros.

The long-standing company head and current head of the supervisory board, Thomas Handtmann, was thanked for his services to the company. At the helm of the firm now is the fifth generation of the family consisting of Markus Handtmann and Valentin Ulrich.
