Versele-Laga and the Loro Parque on Tenerife have renewed their cooperation for another four years. Versele-Laga has sponsored the Loro Parque Fundación for 20 years and their work to date has saved twelve parrot species from extinction. By its continuous investment in expert knowledge on how to house, care for and feed parrots, the Loro Parque Fundación has even achieved success in the breeding of bird species that are especially endangered.

The foundation funds around 200 projects worldwide, protecting extremely endangered ecosystems. It also participates in studies by universities and organisations of national and international renown. Over 25 mio dollars have been donated for scientific research and projects aimed at the survival and rescue of pet species. “As a brand with a love of all pets, we regard this assistance as our duty,” states Versele-Laga.
