Cats for Future nominated for award

Cats for Future is an initiative supporting environmentally aware, sustainable cat owning. Its main aim is to draw attention to the environmental problems caused by mineral cat litter, with the initiators wanting to boost a change of attitude towards plant-based litter.
Cats for Future has now been nominated in the Special Prize category for the best campaign of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWAV). "We are very pleased to receive this nomination and grateful to have had the opportunity in the European Week for Waste Reduction to draw attention to the growing yet largely unknown environmental problem," says Michael Behnke, spokesman for the initiative.
Near 1 500 projects registered for the week of action and presented their approaches in various formats. The winners of the European Awards will be recognised at the award ceremony in Brussels at the start of June.
