B+S GmbH and Nestlé Purina to cooperate

Logistics provider B+S GmbH is investing in taking on a major order from Nestlé Purina and has modified its logistics halls in Alzenau to meet the customer's expectations. Around half of the 62 000 m² warehouse is now reserved for Nestlé Purina.
B+S is taking over Nestlé Purina's central warehousing and will offer other value added services including quality control. As well as receiving goods and handling quality assurance, B+S's responsibilities will include order picking, making up and elements of co-packing and display construction.
Its IT subsidiary Syscon has also implemented the link to an SAP interface for Nestlé Purina.
