The pet food manufacturer aims to open a new factory in the first half of 2015

Nestlé Purina Petcare has opened Mexico’s first Purina Pet Park just north of Mexico City, underscoring the company’s commitment to the country’s fast-growing pet care market. The park offers a range of attractions specially designed for dogs, such as agility games and areas to play Frisbee. The Parque Purina inauguration comes a week after Nestlé announced plans to open a new pet food factory in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato in the first half of 2015. The CHF 200 mio factory project is part of a five-year investment of CHF 900 mio in the country, as revealed by Nestlé earlier this year.
