The Bavarian pet food company Fleischeslust appeared for the first time at Interzoo two years ago. Since then, its premium-quality dog and cat food in eco-friendly packaging has experienced an explosion in demand. 80 per cent real meat, grain-free recipes and ingredients in 100 per cent food-grade quality make this possible, together with practical, green packaging in an artificial casing. Now Fleischeslust is moving forward and presents a veritable feast of product innovations for the first time at this year’s Interzoo. “Meat & treat” is the name given to the new, firm dog training sausages made of 100 per cent meat. They are suited for a 100 per cent canine treat, easy to portion and available in three flavours. From June, horsemeat, poultry and buffalo varieties will be on sale from retailers in 200 g packs. Last year Fleischeslust achieved success with entirely natural cans of 100 per cent meat, launched under the brand Steakhouse. Now the range of premium-dried meat products is set for expansion to mark Interzoo. Here also, the main concern is to produce wholly natural pieces of meat, vacuum-dried according to a new and patented, particularly gentle manufacturing process. Steakhouse dried meat products are available in 150 g and 200 g packs in horsemeat, lamb, buffalo & poultry varieties. These are intended in particular to appeal to allergy sufferers and contain no preservatives, aromas, colouring or emulsifiers. As a special to mark Interzoo, the company is giving a series of special offers on trade fair orders and promotional materials. Visitors will also receive a teaser for the new frozen raw pet food range, available from autumn 2014. www.fleischeslust-tiernahrung.com hall 5, stand 5-311
