The international pet food manufacturer Aller Petfood of Denmark took over the management of the Turkish company Petfood Sanayi Ve Ticaret with effect from the start of January. The takeover is part of Aller Petfood’s strategy for 2013-2018. Among other interesting clients in the market, Aller Petfood will take over the supply to one of the largest Turkish online retailers, Hepsiburida, and some of the leading pet trade distributors Global and Beta. Aller Petfood will also be taking over well established brands such as Buddy and Pets Choice. Aller Petfood Ltd in Turkey manufactures dry pet food. Like the plants in Russia and Denmark, the plant holds an ISO 22000 certification.
