PBI-Gordon acquires Pet Ag

Darlene Frudakis, the former president and COO of Pet Ag, will remain with the business as president of strategic trade development for the Pet Ag/Lambert Kay product lines

The US PBI-Gordon Corporation has purchased pet healthcare product company Pet Ag through an acquisition of all shares of the company’s stock. The company is well known for its Lambert Kay pet healthcare brand line, which was purchased in 2010. Through this acquisition PBI-Gordon, a leader in the professional turf and ornamental management industry, increased the depth of its consumer animal products business unit. Pet Ag’s portfolio comprises nutritional supplements and healthcare products, including brands like Esbilac, KMR, Bene-Bac, Mirra-Coat and Foal-Lac. Darlene Frudakis, the former president and COO of Pet Ag, will remain with the business as president of strategic trade development for the PetAg/Lambert Kay product lines.
