Gaines Europe Limited opens a new plant in Ireland

Gaines Europe Limited, a subsidiary of the company Rondo Food, has opened a new factory in Arklow, Ireland. The plant manufactures snacks and treats for pets there using the latest extrusion and injection moulding equipment. The products are then supplied to the US and Australian markets. 70 people are currently employed in Arklow, and Rondo Food hopes to take on another 15 staff in the next three years.
