Amazon expedition with Dr Bassleer

Dr Gerald Bassleer is to lead an Amazon expedition from 20 to 28 February next year. On the eight-day trip on the Rio Negro, the party will travel upstream on a well-equipped vessel from Manaus in the direction of Barcelos. The company says that there will be a host of opportunities for expeditions into the jungle, swimming, snorkelling and observing birds, monkeys and other animals. A highlight of the trip will be finding and observing native fish species.
