Petsense on the rise

The American pet retail chain Petsense is growing. The company, which specialises in reaching rural markets, opened 18 new stores in 2012, bringing the company’s total store count to 69. Petsense now has stores in 21 different US states.
Petsense says that 2013 will be the company’s largest year of store growth since it was founded seven years ago. With plans to open at least 20 new locations this year, Petsense aims to continue to deliver quality products and services to under-served markets throughout the country. Petsense LLC is a privately held retail organisation established by PetSmart founder Jim Dougherty in 2005.
