Pet food manufacturer increases its sales of pet products by 7.7 per cent in the first quarter of 2012

The pet food manufacturer Nestlé Purina Pet Care increased its sales of pet products worldwide in the first quarter of fiscal 2012 by 7.7 per cent to CHF 2.545 bn (approx. € 2.113 bn). According to its financial statement, the company experienced double-digit growth in North and South America in particular during the quarter, but also grew strongly in Europe.
