Happy Birthday Tropical

In 2012 Tropical is celebrating its 35th anniversary. This renowned manufacturer of foods and care products for aquariums and terrariums, foods for small mammals and birds started its business in 1977. The opening of the company resulted in the launch of the first Polish line of dried foods for aquarium fish. Tropical soon became the leader in the Polish fish food and aquarium care products market and in 1983 it commenced the systematic export of its products. Together with the development of the aquarium sector, the company’s offer has been extended by foods for small mammals and birds, known under the brand name “Tropifit”. As the company became more successful in Polish and foreign markets, Tropical began to participate regularly in international trade events. The company was awarded numerous prizes and honours for its solutions and quality at these shows. Its high product quality was recognised with an ISO certificate in 2004, and following stringent standards at all production stages resulted in the company obtaining HACCP in 2009. In 2009 the company also completed its new production line. This investment included the construction of a modern extrusion line, which produces granules, pellets and sticks with the best parameters. At the moment Tropical’s range numbers 700 stock-keeping units and its portfolio is still growing. Products available in modern and convenient packaging units of different volumes are exported to 70 countries all around the globe. Passion and an innovative approach to every product developed are what the company has cherished the most from the outset of its existence.
