JBL Open House Party: double victory for French

The winners in the final of the first World Aquarium Design Contest are both from France. Kenny Payet in the hobby class and Sylvain von Waerbeke in the professional class beat off competition from Spain, Russia, Great Britain and Germany. A large number of visitors from Germany and abroad took a keen interest in the professional design of the aquariums at the JBL Open House Party on 27 August. The party, at the company’s headquarters in Neuhofen, was to mark JBL’s 50th birthday. The German champion in the hobby class, Claudia Hary, took second place, while the German champion in the professional class, Frank Wagner, came third.
