Expansion into Hungary

The Lidl chain, which plans to invest ten billion forint in Hungary, has recently acquired a site in Gyula. It is already known that Lidl intends to open branches in Gyõr, Pécs, Kaposvár, Veszprém, Tatabánya and Tapolca prior to Hungary’s accession to the EU.
